I am a warm, approachable and caring therapist. I will value you as an individual and work alongside you, as you begin to explore what you have chosen to bring to the counselling sessions. Placing great importance on creating a respectful therapeutic alliance, where you will feel safe and comfortable to explore your issues.

The fundamental part of my practice is the client-counsellor relationship, which I believe to be the heart of successful therapy. I will work collaboratively with you to determine which way of working suits your current situation and your needs.

I provide a professional, safe, confidential, non-judgemental and respectful space in which you can explore recent and long standing personal issues and gain a greater understanding of your unhappiness and distress and find a way to manage this.

Each session will last for 50 minutes, typically once a week, others will prefer more frequent sessions and they will take place at my private practice in Shrewsbury and Ellesmere. There is also the option of telephone and online counselling.

The duration of therapy can either be short-term or long-term depending on the issue.
