Paula Reynolds, counselling, Shrewsbury. I am a qualified, person centred, counselor and psychotherapist (MBACP) based in Shrewsbury, but also working in Ellesmere, Oswestry, Wrexham and Telford. Working with adults and young people (11+) to help with a diverse range of issues including anxiety, depression, domestic abuse, drug and alcohol dependency. I have specialisms in loss and bereavement, anxiety and depression, relationship therapy, couples therapy and psychosexual therapy.
If you are experiencing increased levels of anxiety, stress or worry due to your current situation; support is available. Aside from offering face to face sessions, I am also offering online and telephone counseling. The Covid 19 pandemic has had, and is still continuing to have, an emotional, psychological and physical impact on many people. Professional counseling can help you to navigate through the confusion and help you to understand and cope with how it has affecting your life.

I am a warm, approachable and caring therapist. I will value you as an individual and work alongside you, as you begin to explore what you have chosen to bring to the counselling sessions. Placing great importance on creating a respectful therapeutic alliance, where you will feel safe and comfortable to explore your issues.
The fundamental part of my practice is the client-counsellor relationship, which I believe to be the heart of successful therapy. I will work collaboratively with you to determine which way of working suits your current situation and your needs.
I provide a professional, safe, confidential, non-judgemental and respectful space in which you can explore recent and long standing personal issues and gain a greater understanding of your unhappiness and distress and find a way to manage this.
Helping with a range of issues: trauma, psychosexual issues, phobias, eating disorders, domestic violence, work related stress, low self esteem and confidence, coping with illness, miscarriage, bullying, child related issues, OCD, post natal depression.
