Trauma is the physical, emotional, psychological response to a deeply distressing or disturbing event/s that overwhelms a person’s ability to cope.

The effects of trauma can be wide ranging, impacting a person’s emotions, relationships, behaviours, thoughts and physical health. While trauma can be deeply impactful, healing and recovery is real and possible. I’m a trauma trained therapist, and I work within a trauma informed framework. I will help you to feel safe, to process and heal from your experiences, help you to rebuild a sense of control in your life and help you to manage symptoms like anxiety, PTSD and flashbacks, to name a few.
